Head of E-Commerce Product Merchandising, Amorn Group

 

Amorngroup is a leading electronics retail group looking to fill a senior product role, Head of E-Commerce Product Merchandising. The Head of E-Commerce Product Merchandising will play an integral role in driving the company’s rapid expansion into the e-commerce business.

This position is the steward of the business, and is ultimately tasked with planning and accelerating profitable product sales growth through multiple online sales channel. To accomplish this, the candidate needs to be an avid online shopper, analytically minded, build deep institutional knowledge about the industry and help set the commercial strategy of the business.

 

Responsibilities
 

  • Develop seasonal planning forecasts for range assortment, stock levels and delivery schedule with internal product buyers and external fulfillment partner across multiple online sales channel (Marketplaces & B2C).

  • Regular review of KPIs within departments of responsibility relating to sales, stock, profit and markdown versus budget across all online sales channel.

  • Analyze competitor’s marketing, selection and pricing and make strategic changes and product scouting as needed.

  • Create seasonal and promotional sales and markdown strategies to drive sales and minimize risks. Suggest in-season tactical actions to ensure departments hit KPIs.

  • Update and present vendor packs for product departments of responsibility driving strategic questions for buying in order to improve sales, sell through, profit, deliveries and overall vendor worth.

  • Develop talent for Product Category leadership, mentor and develop team.
     

Qualifications
 

  • Degree educated. Preferably MBAs.

  • Fluent in Thai and English.

  • Extensive relevant experience in retail merchandising, e-commerce or consulting.

  • Ability to develop and articulate strategy and perform tactically.

  • Proven track record of leadership and ability to recruit and build high performing teams.

  • Passion for large data sets to drive strategic insight.
